Professor Matsushita gave a presentation at the symposium of the 134th Annual Meeting of the Japan Prosthodontic Society.
We were pleased to see Professor Matsushita reconnect with his postdoctoral mentor, Dr. Noriaki Ono (University of Texas at Houston), and his colleague, Dr. Ryo Takahashi (Kyushu University).
We invited Dr. Noriaki Ono from the University of Texas at Houston to give a special lecture.
Yoshinari Fujiki has joined our lab from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as Ph.D. students.
Professor Matsushita was awarded a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A), Ms. Kuroda received a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), and Dr. Orikasa was selected for a Grant-in-Aid for Early-Career Scientists.

On January 28, Professor Matsushita gave a lecture at the Development, Growth, and Pediatric Medicine Group Seminar and the Young Researchers & Graduate Student Seminar at Hiroshima University.
We have introduced a new cell sorter (Beckman CytoFLEX SRT) in our lab.
We have newly introduced a single-cell analysis system (BD Rhapsody) in our lab.
On November 25-29, Professor Pedro Gomes from the University of Porto (Portugal) visited the Faculty of Dentistry at Nagasaki University through the EU Erasmus+ Programme. He was primarily hosted by our department, where he gave lectures and engaged in discussions with faculty members and PhD students.
On November 2-4, we attended the 66th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Oral Biology. Prof. Matsushita presented at a symposium. Dr. Wu, Dr. Nagata, Dr. Kondo, Ms. Yamabe, Ms. Hosokawa, Ms. Sugiura, Mr. Takashima, and Ms. Saito gave their presentations. Dr. Kondo received the Morita Presentation Award.
